Orange Ripple

This pattern comes from the simple repeat of a triangle. My intention was to produce the rippling gradient by varying and increasing the placement of the orange and patterned fabrics among the neutral linen from one side of the quilt to the other. The two patterned fabrics used alongside the solids each contain a kind of ripple within their own graphic. Once the triangle pattern was in place, the process was one of visually testing the fabrics for the desired effect.
