This quilt was designed for the Michael Miller Fabric Challenge at QuiltCon 2016 in Pasadena. It won First Place.

I was inspired by the drifting and falling sense of the Michael Miller Glitz "Confetti" pattern, as well as the dreamy metallic sparkle of the graphic. I wanted to reinforce the sense of movement through the angled strips, triangles, and variation of the light and dark fabrics. My process is one of organization and variation: the pattern is repetitive, but not strictly so. This creates pockets of dense movement and space.
